Wrestling enters the NWA the MSW Light Heavyweight Title becomes the NWA Mountain
State Light Heavyweight Title. Kris King originally defeated Kid
Apollo to win the title when it was still the MSW Light Heavyweight Title.
Title abandoned on 7/8/06 in Mullens, WV when King takes pinfall in a "title
retirement tag team match", teaming Heavyweight champion Danny Ray to face
Tag Team champions Blast & Ice, with the stipulation that the title held by
the wrestler who is pinned will be retired. |
