As “One Day Only” General Manager Symon Rose crowned himself as the first Yawara-Wrestling Light Heavyweight Champion. On July 9, 2005 Symon Rose appeared with the title at a GCW show against Thommy McNeal and renamed himself Symon O’Brien. He told then announced that he had arrived at GCW as the first ever GCW Light Heavyweight Champion.
